Kayenta Rock - Monument Valley Utah

We had been shooting in Monument Valley for a few days in early November. It was cold but dry. Until the last evening when it snowed. On our way out of the national park, we drove up to Kayenta Rock. I loved how the road led right through the scene and virtually pointed the way to the rock, as well as almost mimicking the shape of the rock - from wide at the bottom to a point at the top. The snow on the ground contrasted the rock itself from the ground surrounding it. Otherwise, they would have blended too much to make the rock stand out the way that it does.
