American Golden Plover

Braddock Bay Wildlife Fish and Wildlife Management Area, located west of Rochester NY. It is on Lake Ontario, and it has been part of an Ecosystem Restoration Project by the Army Corps of Engineers. The goal is to protect the bay wetlands from erosion and to restore its habitat to improve wildlife. Birds and ducks use it as North/South migrating stop. it is estimated that over 150K birds stop by during the migration. Canon R5, Sigma 60-600mm with 1.4 teleconverter. f.14, ISO 3200, 1/2500sec.
