Mama Sese, like many other mothers in Tanzania (and probably the whole Africa) do not just take care of the family, but actually oversees the seeding and the harvesting of the family crops.
When I saw her cooking for her family of 10, while breastfeeding the youngest son, I saw her becoming something else, an ethereal vision of a goddess. The female counterpart of Atlas. She wasn't just supporting her whole family, but the weight of the whole world.
Like her, many other mothers.
