I've been wanting to do this hike since I went up to Mueller Hut a while ago. I finally got the chance to do this one in April this year when a clear weather window opened up.
With that in mind, I drove out and started on this one late afternoon. I didn't expect to lost early on, but I somehow missed the rock cairns as I followed the river bed way too high up. Had to back track on that one- oops.
It was a decent slog upwards, but I think the last year or so of experiences has given me the confidence to tackle more challenging climbs like these. Definitely worth it for the experience!
I'd gone up for one shot that I had in mind facing eastwards, but totally forgot about the orientation of the Milky Way and Magellanic Clouds in relation to each other. It was only when sitting down that night that I realised that I had a second shot potentially lined up. Super exciting when you get ideas on the go.

Well done and thanks for sharing details.
