This year I ended up changing my all setup from full frame to micro 4/3. One of the reasons: much easy to reach higher magnification. But macro photography it's not about super higher magnification photos, if there is no composition you don't have a good macro photo. For this photo I left out the flash and difuser and forgot about trying to fill the frame with the little weevil. Instead, I was more worried about the composition and how to frame the weevil with the bokeh ball on the background.

The bokeh did make a big difference, turning a simple bug photo into a serene scene, with a pensive creature pondering about the meaning of life.
