Experimenting with white as a dominant theme exploring the realm of purity and what it means to be striving for divine acceptance. The Harpy, a traditionally swift and violent mythological creature, resembles humans in modern times, always masked in a facade of beauty and virtue, yet blood-stained lips can not be ignored. Here the Harpy is reaching for the light, her vilene wings unable to make her fly. Her feet and hand smothered in the smoke of the earth plane, and her lips stained blood red from her last victim. She will only touch the light of divinity, never to become Divine herself.
