On this morning I set out to create a unique image of the North and South Windows in Arches - collectively named The Spectacles - and I believe I succeeded. I had to lay on the slickrock, resting the tripod plate on the slickrock with my Sigma 14-24mm lens attached. I would have liked to shot multiple exposures to increase DOF but it wasn't an option since the camera wasn't securely mounted to a tripod. Nonetheless, I'm quite happy with the result.
