The Eye of the Storm

A howling gale, the kind of winds that are common in Patagonia. I quite literally stumbled upon this clearing of dead trees. When the wind died I dived upon this photogenic tree, to be honest I had so little time to look for compositions I simply got lucky. The wind seemed to die just as these incredible clouds formed. I managed to fire off an automated focus stack of 20+ images on my Z7 with the 20mm S mount prime lens set to f4. Afterwards I told myself I'd never complain again, never let myself believe the photo gods were against me.
