During our family vacation last fall we stayed in the village of Wildsteig, Bavaria. It was just a short walk from our house to the “Schleierfälle“ (Veil Falls), where a small creek falls over the edge into the Ammer gorge. The slope edge is overgrown with moss, which divides the falling water into multiple streaks, creating the illusion of a veil.
During my visit the light was absolutely worthless and so was the resulting image. I was about to delete it, but an alternative blackandwhite edit prevented its digital death - so why not show the formerly moribund image here?
