I was visiting a Buddhist Monastery and for the first time I had got the opportunity to use a telephoto lens. So I was busy zooming in on birds and then I was struck by an idea about how a telephoto image of a flower would turn out. I chose a relatively single flower from the lawns and famed it in say a way that the matching coloured pink tiles on the floor were in the background. To my amazement the telephoto lens compressed the background into a perfect smooth pink pastel background. It was a great learning experience
