A young eastern red fox tempting his buddies to take this shoe away from him.
This young fox was born in April of 2023 and this photo is from early September. I've been watching these pups grow and am endlessly fascinated by their antics. One day I saw this pup emerge from the woods with something in his mouth. It turned out to be an old sneaker and a sock.
