We stopped to photograph this griz across a two-lane highway in Alberta’s Jasper National Park. I was across that highway from him with a 400mm f/4 lens on an EOS R. There’s no way in h311 I should have been anywhere near that close, but it was spring and he was more interested in the plentiful berries and other food. You can tell he’s not too happy with me - he’s clacking his teeth.
