Navigating the Gorge

Rocky Hollow is a narrow sandstone gorge located in Turkey Run State Park, near Crawfordsville, Indiana. This unique landscape is carved by eons of glacial meltwater through layers of sandstone creating a landscape like no other in Indiana. This image was taken in early December, and even then the mosses and ferns were a verdant green. You can find Rocky Hollow with it's carved foot and hand holds on Trail 3.
