Viewing the solar eclipse

Building workers viewing the solar eclipse in Reykjavik.
The days before the solar eclipse the weather forecast was overcast and cloudy but the day before it changed and we got clear skies for the most part and wonderful weather. I talked to the foreman of a hotel that is beeing built next to where I work and got his permission to go up to the roof of the 16 story hotel to photograph the eclipse. At the peak of the eclipse I noticed some workers coming up with the basket on the building crane and switched lenses and put my wide angle on to try to capture them set against the sun. By lucky chance the words WOW are written on a building below the workers which happen to be the name of a Icelandic Airline company.
Also by lucky chance the streets along with the crane form leading lines towards the sun.

All in all I am pretty happy with how this image turned out, considering how it was a spur of the moment decision to take this photo. The light was pretty tricky though with the sun still so bright but the light on the ground pretty dimmed by the eclipse. I probably will return to this image later when I have more time to process it and see if I can get more out of it
