Following the killing of Elena Cecchettin, killed by her ex boyfriend, a number of manifestations erupted in Italy to protest against the high number of feminicides (105 in one year). In all the main cites of Italy, the local Non Una Di Meno (an Italian feminist organization, inspired by the Argentinian Ni Una Menos) organized marches that, in some cases ended up in clashes with the police.
In Turin, the march targeted news agencies (RAI) and police stations, considered accomplices of the feminicides since they fomented and justificated violence towards women.
