The integrated earthen Dome House in Door County, WI was built by Al Quinlan in 1978. In the 1980s it was sold and fell into disrepair, and was deservingly purchased by Al’s daughter Mary Grace in 2016. It has since been beautifully restored and is being used as an artist-in-residence facility in collaboration with the Miller Art Museum.
