I shot him with my Nikon f3, using a 50mm lens, @ f/8-1/60 with an 8800 Alien Bees strobe @ half power, thru the white translucent section of my collapsible 38'' silver/gold reflector, as a flag. Using Portra VC 160 film, for a jewelry shoot, in San Francisco, in 2010, when he was just starting a budding modelling career at 23 y/o.
He was young, but had strong manly facial features, offering a subtleness of masculinity, for this jewelry line, The Good Order, for which, I felt, could resonate with a variety of potential customers.
