I had a real desire to create a new strange self portrait today. I had the idea of some sort a mud image. I think this came because all I seem to do of late is get muddy cycling or trail running :) so I popped to cannock chase in todays fowl weather and picked myself up a handful of the lovely stuff.
It took a while to work out how to light it. I used a Nikon SB800 fired into a Westcott Orb without the diffusion on the front with a gold reflector just below my face.
Quite pleased with the results.
