This image was taken for an altered optics assignment in my college photography course. I chose to use a magnifying glass to alter how the light appears in the image. I used photoshop to crop, but otherwise this is straight out of the camera.
I love how this almost looks like a camera error. There's energy and color from the lines, but the viewer is allowed to see the reality of the image if they choose to see it. Otherwise they can stay in the abstract.
