Gleam Portrait

The idea was to create a photo where the textures, colors, and light trails on the face would stand out.

To achieve this, I used an 80x80 softbox as the main light on the left, a little over 45 degrees from the subject, to create some shadow on the right side.

Then, I placed two speedlights with colored gels to create the color gradient. To create the light trail effect, I used a white LED stick at 5500K to achieve this effect.

Finally, the makeup artist used makeup with a lot of texture, silver glitter, and stones on the side where the shadow was present. Additionally, I moved the camera from right to left to create the light trails on the face.
