February on the Oregon Coast brings storms - big storms. I love big storms. The sky and sea is photogenic after a big storm. This was captured from Cape Perpetua (north of Florence). A pretty unique situation, I suspect, when the setting sun is blocked by a bank of storm clouds and backlighting those clouds and producing a nice glimmer on the calm Pacific. I simply, waited for the "right moment". I lived in Coos Bay for a period in the early 70s, and I enjoy returning.
