Thanks Paul-yea-I was trying to figure that out too. Best I can figure is the moon’s luminosity blasted through the cloud. Tried a haze it back in but looked even more natural. lol.
Matthew, did you try duplicating the original or layer before the high pass sharpening and paste it over the high pass and either mask out the parts of the moon not effected by clouds and start experimenting with blend modes, opacities and fill % and or blend if levels.
