Candelaria

Candelaria Day marks the conclusion of Christmas at the beginning of February for Catholics. It is celebrated with festivities in Mexico and Spain. In the small community of Tule, Mexico, the festival features many pyrotechnic attractions - such as fireworks that come out of the letters of the word "candelaria". This photo was taken with the Sony a7IV and the Zeiss 55m 1.8 lens - it's a perfect combination for low-light portraits. I needed to take the photo underexposed to preserve the highlights. The treatment was done in Lightroom and Luminar Neo.
