Stormy Day at Playa Villa Rica

While in Mexico for work, our generous host treated us to a trip to Playa Villa Rica, a beach in the state of Veracruz. While the idea of a pleasant day in the sand faded as storm clouds darkened the horizon, the rich colors of the broken dunes and long shadows created a perfect setting for some great photos. Although we returned home soaked from our ballcaps to our shoes, we were grateful for the opportunity to have gazed upon the fleeting beauty captured in this picture.
