Tiger beetle (Therates fulvipennis everetti)

Tiger beetles are among the fastest insects, known for their speed, sharp mandibles, and excellent vision. They come in bright, iridescent colors and are fierce predators, even as larvae. Found in diverse habitats, some species are endangered due to habitat loss.
