I like to use the landscape to frame shots, sometimes. 'Between Two Trees' is an ongoing theme for me.
In this case the sun breahed the trees on the horizon casting dawn light across the field of wheat, which moved in the morning wind like cloth.
I was so enraptured with the scene I almost forgot to take the photograph. That happens sometimes, I'm sure we all know the feeling.
When I look at this I can almost hear the wind whispering. This simple scene does not feature mountains, or waterfalls, and doesn't come with an epic story of my journey and the hazards I went through to get the shot. I just drove out of town, aiming for this place that I have visited often, to see the sun rise once more over a scene which I love.
THIS is why I get out of bed early.
