Icy Canadian River

Tonquin Valley Trailhead, River from Cavell lake. On the bridge at the start of the trail head shot with my Nikon Z9 and the 70-200. This is a stich of 5 photos.Being an Australian that lives is country with two seasons snow is rare.So when when you go exploring a snowy winter this can test you normal, f8 100 iso and 250th of sec exposure, Do you polarize in snow ? Should I expose for the shadows in the trees or the actual super bright snow? Shot originaly for color, I found the light range better in BnW
