Robber Fly

The Robber Fly is a predatory insect that catches other flying insects, impales them with a sharp probiscis, and draws out all the essential fluids. I used to live next to a nature preserve and many days after work I'd visit. On numerous occasions I could find this guy in the same area as if it was his territory. At least I'd like to believe it was the same guy, it makes for a much better story.
