Sunset on the Thames II

This shot was taken earlier in the evening - before the golden sunset shot. I cropped into the image to focus on the person on the waters edge. I like this crop because the long silvery shore line leads the eye to the person on the waters edge.

Excellent. Light and shadow are very well balanced. I like it.

As an aside, after I posted this image I noted that there is a very distracting rectangular board (flotsam and jetsam) that is washed up on the beach in the foreground - it is reflecting the light of the setting sun on the otherwise dark shore and so the eye is drawn to it. I've now edited this out of the image and I think the edited image is a better version.
