"The Stillness Between Seconds"

She stands where silence gathers — a figure drawn in shadow and silk. The dress, sharp in its structure yet yielding in its flow, speaks of control held lightly. The top hat tips time on its head, turning the present into a performance, the moment into myth.

Her gaze lowers, not in submission, but in thought — as if listening to a voice that no longer needs to shout. Every line in the fabric tells of a quiet strength, a refusal to rush. Even the wall behind her, bare and unapologetic, seems to step aside, letting her shape the space.

There is no audience here. No applause. Only the stillness between seconds, where power isn’t claimed — it’s simply worn.

Shot on a Sony a7R IV with an 85mm f/1.8 lens (ISO 100) 2 light setup, hard and soft.
