This is my first attempt at water drop photography. I constructed a simple setup with a blue plastic basin of water. I used a plastic bag of water suspended from a tripod, with a pin hole made in it to allow the water to drip. No special lighting, just sunlight through the kitchen window. I set up my Z8 with my 105mm macro lens to shoot unlimited frames. Set on manual I tried to have a large depth of field as well as a fast shutter speed and the lowest iso I could. Without extra lighting that was difficult. The most difficult part for me was focusing. I got a few acceptable images. I post processed this image in Lightroom, mainly changing the white balance, contrast, sharpness, and playing around with the colors. The result is as you see. I think it came out quite good for my first try.
