The Spirit of Halloween
You can feel it when it happens.
All is quiet and still.
She starts spreading her magic
Over valley and hill.
She's rising and whirling,
She takes into her spin.
The magic of jack-o-lanterns
With menacing grins.
She swirls and she shimmers,
She spreads laughter and frights.
She unfurls her dark spirit
Through Halloween night.
