Matterhorn at Blue Hour

One might not have heard about Matterhorn, but the triangular shaped mountain definitely won't be a stranger to Toblerone chocolate fans. With height 4478m, standing across Swiss-Italy border, making Matterhorn one of the highest peaks in Europe. Steep faces, almost perfect pyramidal peak.

This was captured during blue hour when sun had just set and the lovely Zermatt town started to light up, overlooked by the peak. As you observe, there's still light from the sunset falling on one face. With the shadow on the other face, it turned out to be more popped out and fascinating.

Beautiful shot! Quite tricky with the different balance of light from top to bottom.
