Recently it was firefly season in Japan, and this year i wanted to try something a little different than every other year. Shot with the Yongnuo 50mm as a test as to how well it holds up, gotta say i was actually impressed for such a cheap piece of glass.
Nice concept. Was there really fireflies on the jar? Just asking cause there is no cover. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Jaydie, yeah there were fireflies in the jar. This is actually stack of about 30 shots, the jar originally had a lid, but after I got enough shots with the fireflies dancing around I took the lid off and took another exposure, and then I blended them all together in Photoshop.
