This was taken during an amazing road trip I had with a hundred or so people camping in the Colorado Rockies. We drove past the Twin Lakes from the road a few hundred feet away later in the day and immediately after we drove into the mountains I said to myself "Dam, why didn't we pull over to get that shot!". We ended up driving back and camping a few miles away from this location but it was too late in the day to get the shot I imagined. Luckily we had a chance to stop by in the morning while heading back into town. It came out exactly how I imagined it, if not, better. Being from NYC I never get to take shots like this or even see places like this so I was excited to take full advantage.
