It was early morning in Tan Thanh Beach in Mekong Delta Tien Giang Province’s Go Cong Dong District. It is not an ideal place for swimming, but it’s a real treat for the taste buds to visit.
It is around two hours by car from Ho Chi Minh City or 50 km from the Mekong Delta province’s My Tho Town via National Highway 50.
The seven-kilometer black sand beach is very shallow and the tide goes out for hundreds of meters.
