I took this photo on Orchid Beach, Fraser Island, Australia a few weeks ago.
These pelicans were hanging around the Tailor fishermen looking for scraps of bait or any fish that would fall off the hook when being landed. As soon as there was an opportunity for some food, they would race over and pounce on it, very entertaining to watch.
When I hoped out of Hannah (my camper van) they came over looking for a feed and I was able to capture this image.
