You've got a nice location, found some interesting foreground, had a good sky, etc.
You missed some things though, like the horizon being tilted ( fix it in post, but always pay attention to that on location! )
Since your scene had a wide dynamic range, you should've opted for a double exposure and then blending them digitally in PhotoShop/Capture One/etc.
Look up "Luminosity masks" and "exposure blending", once mastered it will truly change the way you capture such beautiful scenes ;)
I wouldn't go HDR. Especially this grungy.
