Ian, This was a fashion/group shoot set up by a hair studio in Chicago. This shot was done in about 5 minutes as it was time to wrap up and I really wanted to get a shot with this model. I just found a spot where the light was interesting. bounced the speed light of a mirror just out of frame on the left side. I placed a snoot on speed light to keep it from filling up the area.
well you did a heck of a job dude this is fantastic. I don't know why it just has that feel like you didnt spend a ton of time on it but ended up with great results.
also did you REPLY to my comment or just add another comment? wondering how the notifications work here bc i didnt get one that you responded..
Would have given this a 4 but the lights in the background look a little messy behind the banister. Love the light on her face though, them cheek bones!
Now that is an awesome fashion bridal shot!
Thanks!!! Shot with 1 SB-900 bounced into mirror. Nikon CLS, Manual Setting.
Killer shot
killer shot here dude. great mood. how long would you say you had to visualize and execute this? assuming it was shot wedding day...

Great shot! love the simplicity and elegance!
Thanks!!!
Amazing, It feels like it's straight out of Vogue from the late 40's early 50's. Wonderful shot! Thank you!

True about the lights but that's what you get in older wedding venues. I could of photo shopped it out but That's not my style. I only use Lightroom.
