Mayon Volcano, also known as Mount Mayon, is an active volcano in the province of Albay, on the island of Luzon in the Philippines.
After a 24h bus ride I arrived just before sunset in the lovely town Legazpi. In the background I saw immediately what I came for. I quickly grabbed my camera bag and jumped into the first taxi I could find. As you can see I arrived just in time to see this beautiful sunset. The days after I returned a couple of times in the morning and the evening but never saw a sunset like this again.
