Abandoned in Butte

"This shot was taken just outside Butte, Montana (from a moving vehicle - very lucky!) its was in April this year, very cold but luckily no snow. My friend and I were on a road trip to California and drove through all sorts of strange places. Butte was a thriving industrial town until around the 1950's and a high rate of poverty remains. The old town is full of boarded up buildings of business that once would've thrived. I'm currently working on that project and eventually all the images."- Kate Sheffield
