"This past weekend (May 17th) I was hired by Life in Color to photograph their Seattle show along with my friend AJ. I was really excited to hear that they were interested in me working at their event. I've been shooting in the electronic music scene for about two years now, and it's great to have clients like Life in Color on my resume.
However, Life in Color is known for their use of paint during the show, so I was extremely anxious about protecting my gear during the show while still being able to capture images I was happy with. I ended up modifying a rain sleeve to protect my gear during the show, but that didn't help protect me from the paint! Moments after I took this shot of one of the performers in the pit, the paint cannons fired and I ended up covered in dayglo paint. In the end it didn't bother me, it was worth it to get a shot like this." -Tyler Hill
