Fisherman's Path

Today's POTD contest entry comes from Austin Trigg.

My name is Austin Trigg. I am a photographer based in southern California. I recently got back from a trip to the Amalfi Coast, Italy. Since the towns are buried in the nooks of the steep coastline, the roads are cliffside, hairpin turns and very narrow, leaving it difficult to transport food into. This led me to notice the small communities of the local fisherman. I wanted to create a few photographs portraying the feeling of loneliness that fishing can evoke, while alone with the sea. This is a fisherman from the Positano wharf.
