"This was a last minute shot at the end of a big shoot. We had some time to kill and she had the flower head prop so we threw it on. I knew the lighting and look I wanted prior to the shot and knew how to achieve it from previous attempts which made it very quick and easy to setup.
I used a single Einstein with large double diffused octabox behind and to the left feathered for backlighting but used as a key and a single white foam core DIY cheapo Lowes reflector filling in the shadows just out of camera right. The light is subtle and I think suits the look much nicer than a simple clamshell beauty setup. Shot this at f/2.2 because f/1.4 was overkill and not everything needs to be shot wide open." -Chris Goddard
