it was already there on the rocks. Easy solution is to scroll down slightly when viewing this photograph so your undesired part of the photo is out of view but doesn't hurt the composition.
The right range of light and shadow. The “S” curve with varied texture. Little details along your viewing path that make you stop and ponder – and back up and start again. It follows and breaks enough “composition rules” to make it really interesting. That’s a wall-hanger.
