"I have visited Horseshoe Bend in Arizona 3 times now. The first two I wasn't able to get a shot to my liking, so I decided to change something this most recent time around. I haven't seen many night shots of it, so I figured I would take a stab and see what I could come up with, giving the resulting image.
I used a Canon 5d Mark II with a 17 f4 Tilt Shift lens for this shot. This was able to correct for the perspective shift with the scale of the actual scene (It's 1000 or so feet to the bottom). My RRS tripod kept my camera steady enough for both exposures of Horseshoe Bend and the night sky." -Rick Rose
