This is a photo of the newly opened Buerger Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. This is a long exposure photo taken with a 10 stop ND filter and then processed with in PS and LR to obtain the fine art look using principals and techniques that were inspired by Julius Tjintjelaar.
Never in my wildest dream could I ever have imagined needing a place like this but over the last 6 months it has been our home during my 4 year old daughter's illness. We still have a long road ahead but I'm very thankful to have this hospital and its dedicated and highly talented staff in our community.
During this period, photography has been my escape and truly theraputic for me.
