"Around six months ago I got a bit bored of shooting digital so I bought a MF camera and started shooting film. This photo is from one of the first shoots I did on film back in May 2013. My friend Ryan Burnett (https://www.facebook.com/ryanburnettofficial) who is a Singer & Songwriter needed some new photos as he had just gone solo after singing in a band. We spent a day walking around London and shot around 4 rolls of film.
It was shot on a Mamiya 645 Pro TL with an 80mm f2.8 lens and I used Ilford FP4 125 speed film. I developed the film at home in the evening straight after the shoot, and then scanned it using a Canon 9000f with Vuescan software. Once the image was in the computer I used Capture One for the adjustments and Photoshop for some minor dust removal. Since this shoot six months ago I have been learnt so much more about shooting and scanning film, both black and white and colour, and now have a workflow that seems to work very well for me!" -Sam J Bond
