"I wanted to do a very colorful vibrant shoot involving cool looking make-up, dark eyebrows and colorful wigs.
I purchased the wigs. Got together my team which included Bambie (model) and Marthe Norheim (MUA). Both, I have worked with many times and we all work awesome together. The wigs were the typical small clown wig shape.. but I didn't want to just throw them on the models head in an clown style way....So I got creative and positioned them different ways. It was 3 different wigs and 3 different looks. To see entire set, go to my facebook page listed below.
Lighting this set, I knew I wanted some color also coming from my lights. For this particular image, I wanted pink and green. So I used a Profoto D1 500 strobe with a green gel attached to it as my fill light. It was about 5ft from the model, directly to the right side of her face. My main light for this set was my Beauty dish on another Profoto strobe head. Main light was about 2.5ft from model and aimed a bit down on her.
I truly enjoyed this shoot." -Dana Cole
