Currently based in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) Kasimir Szekeres began to retouch scanned analog photographs after he processed them in his doka in the 90’s. With a passion for shapes, lines and composition he graduated in graphic design and film.

As of 2006 he has devoted his attention to fashion, portrait and advertising photography as a self-taught location and studio
photographer.

His true passion is to “paint with light”, the actual Ancient Greek translation for photography, which he sees as the ultimate artistic interpretation of reality, thereby directing a human face and body to achieve perfect balance between composition and style resulting in a sleek still image or motion picture.
